Douloufakis Winery located in Crete, the largest island of Greece. The island has a long and continuous history of viticulture and wine production, which starts 4000 years ago. The winery and vineyards are located in the heart of wine-growing zone of the Palms, for which there are historical references concerning the production of the famous Malvasia wine. Generally, the weather in Crete are very good every year. The dry climate prevents many diseases in vines and enable us to produce quality product not damaged by pesticides.
In the village square there is the two-Aisled old church of Agia Zoni & St. Nicholas.
The famous "Dafniano" wine was known, as mentioned above, from 1271. This product has been and continues to be one of the main products of the village, in combination with its quality conquered not only the market of Heraklion and the whole of Crete.
