From the most important monuments of the area, the Church of St. George has probably built on ruins of an older church, on the site of the ruined settlement already so Kaimenos' referred to by second Byzantine period.

The built-in architectural members from earlier constructions are still preserved.

In this church, the roof tiles were placed shortly before World War II, but the roof eventually collapsed (the wall began to open to the outside), with the result that later built the new little church which today is located east of old.

According to a local tradition that survives in Kiparissi, "one night entered the village of Turk, caught a Christian and spoiled, she cursed himself to become black like her soul. The Turk stood in the carob tree of AI Giorgis to drink water and I managed to sit and dropped Thunder and burned ". So since this is said in the region of 'Kaimenos'.
