The Asites offered for those who like hiking and mountaineering routes. The ascent to the mountain refuge "Prinos" of psiloritis is a challenge for the visitor who wants to walk on the highest mountain in Crete.
The shelter, which was built in 1967 and expanded in 1992, is located at an altitude of 1100 meters and path is quite uphill. The shelter can accommodate 25 people, has a rain water tank and is heated with two Pellet.
